Frequently Asked Questions

How far ahead do you need an order for a specific stage on a specific day?

The earlier the order is confirmed, the easier it is to schedule the batch into a ripening program. Send us the volume, the stage and the delivery area, and we will confirm the earliest date we can hold for you.

What happens if a pallet arrives outside the agreed stage?

Tell your contact as soon as you notice it, with the pallet and batch details and a photo if possible. We check the ripening and final-inspection records for that batch and discuss the remedy with you — for example a replacement on the next delivery or a credit note.

What does stage 3, 4, 5 mean for bananas?

The stages describe peel colour: stage 3 is more green than yellow, stage 4 more yellow than green, and stage 5 yellow with green tips. We choose the stage around transport time and your sales rate.

Can I order mixed loads with different stages?

Yes. A load can combine pallets at different stages, planned around your sales schedule.
